Procurcuma® is a unique supplement in terms of composition, dose and quality:

• high dosage (600 mg turmeric rhizome dry extract and 100 mg turmeric rhizome powder);
• 600 mg titrated at least 95% in curcuminoids;

Curcumin is an active ingredient of vegetable origin, extracted from the rhizome (surface root) of turmeric.

Procurcuma® contains Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) rhizome dry extract titrated to at least 95% in total curcuminoids, of which Curcumin (75%-81%), demethoxy-Curcumin (15%-19%), bisdemethoxy Curcumin (2.5%-6.5), on maltodextrin from corn; pregelatinized corn starch; black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) fruit dry extract titrated at 95% in piperine; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; coating agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, talc, glycerol, coating agents: shellac, acetic esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, polyvinylpyrrolidone.

The Curcuminoids actually present in the 600 mg of Curcuma Longa extract of a tablet are divided as follows (as per specific certification):

Total curcuminoids: 581 mg (96.85%), of which Curcumin 458 mg (76.25%), Demethoxy-Curcumin 101 mg (16.88%), Bisdemethoxy-Curcumin 22 mg (3.72%)

Each Procurcuma® tablet also contains 1.9 mg of Piperine, in the form of dry extract of Piper Nigrum in order to increase the intestinal absorption of the active ingredients. Finally, the special external coating of the Procurcuma tablet makes it acid resistant and with prolonged release, so as to increase the final bioavailability.

Serving size

1 - 2 tablets of Procurcuma a day, possibly with meals.
